AERFLY® is a closed-cell, 100% recyclable, PVC-free panel, perfectly suited to lightweight composite structures.

It is used in applications in the fittings and furnishings industry to lighten structures.

AERFLY® offers an exceptional lightness x rigidity ratio, the result of a manufacturing technology that is unrivalled worldwide. AERFLY® is an alternative to wood, reducing weight by up to a factor of 5, while remaining moisture-resistant.

Working with this product is similar to working with wood.

Cutting techniques :

Gluing :

the perfect surface finish and closed cells mean that the thickness of the glued material (HPL, CPL, PVC, PP, wood, etc.) can be reduced, while also cutting down on the quantity of glue used.

Drilling and screwing :

traditional use of screws and woodworking tools, specific friction-welded fasteners (EJOT) or assembly techniques for furniture.

Good chemical resistance to diluted acids and aqueous salt solutions.

Aesthetic features :

ENVIRONMENTAL DATA

AERFLY® has all the characteristics of the materials of the future. As an expanded material, it is composed of 3% material and 97% air. Its long carbon chain molecule (C8H8)n is internal and can be recycled up to 20 times.

It is naturally white and requires no chemical agents to whiten it.

Moisture-resistant, food contact.

AERPANEL complies perfectly with the 3-stage recycling cycle: crushing and compacting the product for transport, regranulation, reuse as a raw material.
